Steve Schwartzenberger
Steve Schwartzenberger is a veterinarian (CSU, ’82) and a veteran horseman, living and showing in Colorado and the western states his entire career. Steve has been a professional horseman since the late 1970’s. Steve and his wife Dori established Schwartzenberger Equine in 1984 at their current ranch north of Longmont, Colorado. Steve has successfully shown and competed in many horse events, including cutting, cow horse, reining, western pleasure, western riding, roping and had world show finalists in almost all of those events, but the reining horse has always been his passion. Steve helped found the Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Association in 1985, serving on the board, as a president and managing the Summer Slide for many years since. Steve was a director for the NRHA, served on many committees for NRHA, is a current NRHA judge since 1990, and is still active on many boards/advisory committees.
Steve has won over $700,000 lifetime earnings. His accomplishments include:

- Champion and Reserve Champion of the Half Arab Futurity

Steve is currently still active training and showing horses and operating a busy equine reproduction/sports medicine practice. He enjoys teaching Non Pro riders and mentoring future reining trainers and horsemen. The passion still burns…….!
Sharee Schwartzenberger
Sharee Schwartzenberger is a 30 year old, second generation, professional horsewoman from Longmont, Colorado. She grew up in the horse industry; the daughter of equine veterinarian/professional horseman, Dr. Steve Schwartzenberger and Dr. Dori Schwartzenberger, PhD Animal Science/professional horsewoman and judge. A graduate of Colorado State University (2009 BS Hospitality Management and Business), Sharee has shown extensively in NRHA and AQHA as an Amateur and Non Professional through 2016; turning professional in 2017. Her debut as a professional has proved her a capable competitor and talented coach. Sharee has won over $160,000 as a Non Professional in NRHA events, and over $16,000 since turning professional. In addition, Sharee is one of the elite freestyle reining competitors in the nation, finishing Reserve Champion in the Dodge Invitational Freestyle for over the last 4 years.
Sharee’s future goals are to continue to improve and learn as a professional and to be competitive nationally; while continuing to coach others to reach their goals as horsemen and showmen.
